What I'm Loving Wednesday!!

I'm linking up with Jamie @ This Kind of Love

This is my favorite time of year!! So I love just about everything during the Christmas season! But today I am loving...

My husband and I are really loving Zane's bounce about by Bright Starts, it has so many things for him to play with and it's amazing watching him learn so much from this activity center!

Philosophy's Gingerbread Man Scrub

This scrub is UH-mazing!!  It's not at all greasy or oily and leaves you feeling exfoliated and fresh!!

Scenty's Festival of Trees! If you are like me I go the pre-lighted fake tree route!  But with this scent it's like I have a real one, minus those dreaded needles constantly covering my floor!!

Scenty's Christmas Cottage, smells, just like it sounds!! I'm sure Santa's home smells like this!!

This year I really wanted my house to be full of Christmas!!  And I can honestly say I L-O-V-E my home this year!!  And I really wanted to go all out for Zane's 1st Christmas!  I know he won't remember, but I will! This is only half the decor I have goin on!

Now this I REALLY love!! I made othis ornament for myself, my parents and husband's parents!

Ok, as always...I am loving my little boy! Isnt't he precious as nakie Santa??? These were taken at a baby party by Sean Christain Miller of Sean Christian Photography!  He's great with the kiddos!

Here is Zane admiring our tree!

Zane's 1st Thanksgiving!

I was so excited this Thanksgiving because it would be Zane's very 1st!!  We are lucky to have both sides of our families close so each holiday we split the time.  My husband's family always did lunch, while mine does dinner, so it always works out great!  We all got to sleep in and get well rested then got up, got ready and headed to our first stop!

Here is Zane with his Uncle Stephen, they are having deep convos!

My sister-in-law and I got early Christmas gifts, we had to model them!

We ate a big Thanksgiving lunch, hung around a bit and then headed home to let Zane have a nap (rockin' his Thanksgiving sleeper of course)!

Once he woke up we were off to my parents house!

Zane got to see his Momo, they love to cuddle!!

Cousin Hollie got in some cuddle time too!!

My little turkey!!

All this Thankgiving action made him a little sleepy!

Then a little hungry...
(Poppie volunteered)

Both my boys with full bellies sound asleep!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We sure did, we have so much to be thankful for!!!

Another Yummy Recipe!

I am really getting into my role as "Stay at Home Mommy" and "House Wife" and always looking for new great meals for myself and my hard working hubby! This one I found off Pinterest and it's a new fave!!!!

What you'll need is some chicken breasts, one for each member of your family. I add an extra for leftovers. Asparagus, Red Potatoes, and 1 lemon.

I started with 3 large chicken breasts, bone-in (they are always juicer), and put them in a large Pyrex pan.

Next, I cut up some red potatoes in quarters and covered the chicken. You can add as much potatoes as you like. My hubby loves potatoes so I put alot! Then, I got my fresh asparagus, "snapped" them and cut them into smaller pieces and added them to the dish!

Then I got my lemon and cut it up and put the slices in around the dish.

I sprinkled salt and pepper and covered it with foil and popped it in the oven at 350. I let it cook until the chicken was done. Success!!

Happy Cooking Bloggers!!!!

A Baby Halloween!

We had so much going on this year for Halloween!  I can say with 100% certainty that this has been THE BEST Halloween I  have ever had, it was spent entirely with family and of course our little ducky Zane!

A few days before the spooky day arrived, a sweet friend from high school and her son (who is 11 days older than Zane) invited us to a Halloween Bash for the babies.  She has a photographer friend who was there to take pictures of all the little ones, such a neat idea!!! Take a look at the lovely party and the party animals!

Zane @ the party...

"Mmmm...punkins!!!"

Group photo, they were not thrilled about this!

Some of the Mommies and their cuties!

That was a great way for us mommies to get together and our babies to meet other babies!!  It kicked off our Halloween week.  On Saturday we took Zane to our town's Halloween Festival.  It's held in our community park and is just walking distance from our house.  Radio Disney was there and vendors set up tents all around the park and trick or treaters would stand in line to get their candy.  We just walked around and took it all in since Zane is not old enough for candy (although some insisted to hand it out to him)it was also a great way for him to get more "wear" out of his costume!!

His little loot!

And on Halloween night I felt we just HAD to carve pumpkins since this was his very 1st Halloween.  So daddy and I got to carving and Zane watched.  Afterwards, we got him dressed in his costume and "ducked" out to show him off to family that lived in town.

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!!
